Tolmin Museum

The Tolmin Museum displays the rich cultural heritage of the Soča Valley.

The permanent exhibition named  The Soča region and its historical deposits features the exceptional archaeological findings from Most na Soči, especially from the Early Iron Age. The ethnological and historical part of the exbibition attractively display the living culture in the Tolmin area and the rich history of the area, as well as the fight for justice – the Great Peasant Revolt in Tolmin in 1713.

The museum also has a gallery that displays various occasional exhibitions, and a small museum shop and wedding room.
