THE SOUNDS OF PEACE / ZVOKI MIRU / SUONI DELLA PACE / - HIKE
At the end of August and the beginning of September, the third season of a series of events will continue, marking and connecting the cross-border area of Slovenia and Italy in a unique historical, cultural, and musical spectacle called: SOUNDS OF PEACE // SUOINI DELLA PACE // ZVOKI MIRU.
Starting on Saturday, August 31, 2024
PEACE TRAIL HIKE (SLO): Discover the Peace Trail, which winds through the interesting karst villages in the Karst region. On the hike, you will get to know the specifics and history of the Karst and the traces of World War I in the company of a local guide. The hike includes a visit and guided tour of the House of Opaj Tradition and the World War I Collection in Opatje Selo, lunch and refreshments, a visit to the Pečinka Cave, and a cultural program along the way.
At 9:30 AM: Meeting point in front of the Peace Memorial in Cerje, Lokvica 35
At 5:30 PM: Arrival at the Peace Memorial in Cerje and a free guided tour
At 8:00 PM: Free concert from Tartu to GO! 2025
Participation fee: €15.00 per person.
