Sustainable Cultural and Tourist Destination –
Cross-border Land of Prehistoric Hillforts (Kaštelirji) of the Upper Adriatic
The project is co-financed by the European Union under the Interreg VI-A Italy–Slovenia Programme.
PROGRAMME
8:00 AM MOUNTAIN BIKING ALONG THE KAŠTELIR TRAIL
A guided mountain biking tour of medium difficulty (approx. 30 km), lasting around 4 hours.
The use of a protective helmet is mandatory.
Participation is at your own risk.
Meeting point: in front of the church in Vojščica.
9:00 AM GUIDED HIKE FROM HILLFORT TO HILLFORT
The hike is of medium difficulty, approximately 8 km long, and lasts around 3 hours.
Suitable hiking footwear and weather-appropriate clothing are recommended.
Participation is at your own risk.
Meeting point: Kal event venue in Vojščica.

6:00 PM–7:30 PM DISCOVERING HILLFORTS AND PREHISTORIC MEGASTRUCTURES IN THE KARST

Dr. Maša Saccara – Hillforts / Kaštelirji in the Slovenian part of Istria
