Climate and morphology

Water and stone are intertwined and together create the landscape of Miren Kras. The Vipava River in the north draws its green meanders on the fruitful fields, while the karst waters disappear in the underground through limestone ground. Due to the close vicinity of the sea, the warm air gently embraces your face, while the cold north bora wind swishes around your ears in winter.
